Description
She walks in beauty''She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that 's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.''(...)Lord Byron
Lei Splendida Incede
''Ella splendida incede, come notte
Di limpido immenso e cieli di stelle,
E tutto il meglio di oscuro e di luce
Negli occhi e nell'aspetto suo rifulge:
Dolce in quel tenero chiarore
Che il cielo nega allo sfarzo del giorno.
Un'ombra in pił, un raggio in meno
Avrebbero sciupato la grazia indicibile Che tra i capelli di ebano si tinge
E sul suo volto poi risplende chiara;
Un volto dai pensieri lieti che dicono sereni
Quanto puro il loro rifugio sia e prezioso.''(...)
Experimenting with light...

Carlos
PS....yes crop from the left.
07/20/07 @617
And I was going to suggest cropping from the right to get rid of some of the uninteresting black areas and move the subject a little further away from the center. Did you shoot a raw image? If you did, you might be able to restore some of the detail in the blown highlight areas. I also would liked to have seen the model's eye more in focus.
Anyway, I like the mood, colours, and model's expression. Very good shot.

Beautiful model!
The elbow thing is a bit killing the shot imho.
Don't you have control of the lights in this one?
